Sultan Mosque in Daik

Daik which was once former center of the kingdom of Riau-Lingga, of course there are many historical relics. One of them is the Sultan Mosque is located in Daik Lingga. This mosque is a relic of the Sultanate of Riau-Lingga, which is still used as a place of worship of Muslims residing in Daik and surrounding areas.



The building of this mosque began around 1801, where the original building made entirely of wood. Then after Penyengat mosque completed, the mosque building was overhauled and rebuilt from concrete. Mosques that were once only able to accommodate 40 person is now able to accommodate up to 400 people.
