The singer-songwriter from the United States, Taylor Swift has been named as Billboard Woman of the Year on Tuesday, October 11, 2011. 21-year-old beautiful woman managed to become the artist's youngest award recipient.
Billboard editorial director Bill Werde said, the music and the works of Swift's song has surpassed all genres of music.
Taylor chose the genre of country music has won four Grammys. His album entitled 'Speak Now' became one of the highest selling album in the United States in 2011. Even 11 of the 14 songs contained on the album entered the Billboard Hot 100.
Swift is scheduled to receive the Woman of the Year award in New York on December 2, 2011.
