Rafael Nadal wins seventh title in Barcelona - Rafael Nadal won his seventh title at the Barcelona Open after beating David Ferrer in straight sets 7-6 (1) 7-5 in the final round which ended on Monday (30/4).
Before reaching the final, Nadal opened the tournament with victories over Guillermo Garcia Lopez and consecutive beat fifth seed Robert Farah and Janko Tipsarevic in the quarterfinals. In the semifinals, he then won from Fernando Verdasco, and advanced to the top of the game.
