Dungun Beach in Daik

Dungun beach is located in Teluk Village, North Lingga, Lingga District. And on the Beach Dungun was once found a rare marine animals, in a few years ago. Rare sea creatures were discovered by the local community in the stranded dead on January 13, 2005.


Local people know it's rare sea animals as sea elephants. The entire skeleton of this rare sea animals are collected and then submitted to the Mini Museum Linggam Cahaya.


Of note the Mini Museum Linggam Cahaya is revealed, the length of rare marine animals from the base of the tail until the head reaches 12.40 meters, the length of the base of the tail until the tail end of 1.80 meters, 2.40 meters long tusk, 10 inches thick skin, fin length below 78 cm, and width of the fins under 47 cm.
